Abdeslam Achahbar is an accomplished data center design and project management professional with nearly three decades of experience delivering complex projects across Europe and the Middle East. As Director of Innovation at Khazna Data Centers, he drives initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce power and water consumption, and advance sustainability in large-scale digital infrastructure. Before joining Khazna, Abdeslam held senior roles with Laing O’Rourke and Royal HaskoningDHV, where he managed the design and delivery of multiple high-capacity data centers across the UAE. He has also overseen major construction and renovation projects for clients ranging from global technology firms to embassies, manufacturers, and cultural institutions. Certified as both a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD), Abdeslam combines deep technical knowledge with strong stakeholder management skills. His career spans both contractor and client-side leadership, and he is recognized for his ability to guide multicultural teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. Fluent in English and Dutch, with additional proficiency in German, French, and Arabic, Abdeslam brings a global perspective to the evolving challenges of sustainable digital infrastructure.
